‘Waack_ is a form of dance created in the clubs of Los Angeles, originating from the 1970s disco era in Los Angeles, Waacking consists of moving the arms to the music beat, typically in a movement of the arms over and behind the shoulder. Waacking also contains other elements such as posing and footwork. Waacking puts a strong emphasis on musicality and interpretation of the music and its rhythm. Waacking was popularized by Soul Train The typical music of choice for Waacking is 70’s Disco, with Disco songs from 1979 being some of the most popular amongst the Waacking community.’

Named one of the ‘100 Most Creative People in Business’ for 2013 by Fast Company magazine, some of Mr Crescenzi branding work has included the latest LeBron James logo to the typography on the 2012 Team U.S.A. Olympic basketball uniforms, I personally worked with him creating images for the Nike HyperDunk and he was kind enough to stop by the studio for this sitting for various publications. A big Thanks to Ms Wiles for helping create these portraits.
